Experiences from 4 countries with new developments in The CARe Model - recovery practice approach.

Date: 17.3.2023 15.00 – 17.00 CET

Organised by The CARe Network

Speakers:

Dirk den Hollander, Juraj Marendiak, Radmila Stojanovic Babic, Jana Pluhaříková Pomajzlová (more about the speakers here)

Nowadays we can find many resources about recovery-oriented practice and about different ways how to support personal recovery journey. Although the recovery process is deeply personal, it does require others. It is obvious how important it is to experience supportive relationships, which creates the space where the healing and growth is possible. But is it an intuitive process of creating such relationship, or can we create such supportive relationship in a systematic manner?

We would like to share experiences from 4 countries with new developments of The CARe Model as relationship-based recovery approach. The CARe methodology helps to build a relationship and to investigate what actually helps someone to increase their quality of life. This support is aimed on the one hand at what is needed in connection with vulnerability, and on the other hand at developing and utilizing strengths. CARe is intended to align the support provided by care providers in a targeted, effective way with the wishes and needs of people in their recovery process and with their quality of life.

Within the webinar there will be space for questions, discussion, and joint dialogue. Each voice in the discussion is very welcome. We are happy for this opportunity and look forward meeting you there.
