On the 16th of February, DUO Publishing, one of the first client-directed social enterprises in Estonia, proudly presented its first publication. The Estonian edition of a book describing the CARe model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation is now a fact. The book was presented to one of the authors, Jean Pierre Wilken, who congratulated DUO Publishing with this great achievement. Triin Vana recalls that the CARe model was introduced in Estonia 15 years ago and that already many care workers have been trained in the model. Now that an Estonian CARe handbook is available, a new milestone is reached. Kulli Mae, together with Triin has introduced the CARe model in Estonia, announced that an active community of CARe workers, including peer workers supporting recovery, will be established. Also, new training opportunities, such as a training to become a CARe coach, will be organised this year.
